Shotts History Group
 was formed in September 1993 as a non profit making organisation and met at that time
in Calderhead Community Education Centre. Our intention was to liaise with the  Shotts Heritage Centre (situated in the local library) 
to provide We also anticipated writing our first book relating to the history of Shotts.
